Doniec Deborah

In loving memory of Deborah Doniec (Porter), age 64.Debbie passed away June 12, 2019, in her Sudbury home after returning from her afternoon walk.Dear wife of Daniel Doniec. Caring mother of Tabitha (Marc) Julien, Jereme (Kara) Doniec, Julianne (Jeffrey) Joki, and Tara whom she loved as her own. Cherished daughter of Sheldon and Jane Porter. Loving big sister to Bonnie (Richard) McAllister, Paula (Michael) Godin, Curtis (Rachel) Porter, Patti (Ralph) Copp, and Stephen Porter.Since her birth on February 13, 1955, Debbie brought joy and laughter to all that were a part of her life, none more than her beloved husband, whom she married on April 14th, 1973. For 46 years she was a perfect compliment to Dan and remained a loving, supportive wife until she died. Debbie enjoyed the simple things in life most - gardening, decorating her home, creating her own paradise for her family. She spent her summers in Sudbury and winters in Florida with Dan. Undoubtedly, one thing Debbie enjoyed most was conversing with family, close friends, or even strangers. She had a special way of getting people to open up and feel comfortable talking to her about anything, which made her a true friend and comfort to all. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses July 11, 1969 at age 14. This began the most important friendship in her life, that with her loving God, Jehovah. As a young girl she spent her summer vacations in her ministry, walking and taking the bus with her good friend Linda, as they were too young to drive. She served her God with all her strength, even as her health deteriorated towards her last years and is now safe in His memory. Debbie's funeral will be at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3720 Regional Rd 80, Hanmer. June 22, 2019 at 1:30pm.
