Lillian Carriere

It is with great sadness that we announce her peaceful death on Thursday, June 13th, 2019 at Extendicare Falconbridge surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late William and Yvonne (nee Dubois) Lamothe. Loving wife of Gerald Carriere for 59 years. Cherished mother of Kimberley Rienguette (Mike), William "Billy" (Wanda) Carriere, Vicki Carriere (Yvon) and Gerald Jr. (Polly-Anna) Carriere. Beloved grandmother of Michele (Dave) Demetroff, Carley Rienguette (Eric), Julie (Justin) Tarini, Kyle Carriere (Megan), Kelsie Santala (Cale), Ashley Santala (Mike), Jillian Santala (Josh) and Kendra Carriere. She was the great grandmother of Sara and Benjamin Demetroff and Holdynn Rienguette-Nadeau. Lillian was the sister of the late Roland (Elanor), Leonard (late Marie), Lucille (late Ernest), Robert (late Eilleen), Morris (Jean), Claudette (Mansel) (late Ted), Raymonde (Bill). Lillian will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Lillian enjoyed playing in casinos and travelling with her husband in their motor home. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff and to Dr. Roch from Extendicare Falconbridge for the special care and attention given to Lillian during her stay. Relatives and friends will be received at the Notre Dame de la Rivière Roman Catholic Church, 60 Hill St. Wahnapitae, Saturday, June 22nd, at 10 a.m. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. The family would like to invite family and friends for a reception to follow in the church hall after the Funeral Mass.
