Ogilvy, Aaron Jordan 1990-2021

In loving memory of Aaron JORDAN Ogilvy who passed away in Sudbury in the arms of his mother and sister on December 10, 2021 at the young age of 31 years.  Beautiful and cherished son of Aaron and France Ogilvy (née Joyal).  Loving brother of Jasmine Ogilvy – his person.  Loving step-father of Marilyn Perreault – the gift he never expected. Loving father of his beautiful and beloved son Lincoln Ogilvy – the gift he waited for his entire life. Dear grandson of Mary Ann Ogilvy, late Alex Ogilvy, late Rolland and late Jeannine Joyal.  Deeply loved by his aunt Rebecca Ogilvy, Will, Terry, Steve and Stella, and matante Linda. Left to cherish his memories are the mother of his children, Isabelle Bastien-Gagnon, as well as his many friends. Also remembered by aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

Jordan was a typical northern Ontario redneck. He loves his cars fast, his trucks lifted and his beer cold. His passions included doing burnouts, and working on trucks and cars. Jordan and his father had the pleasure of restoring a 72 Chevelle together last summer. Jordan also enjoyed quadding, sledding, camping, fishing and hunting. He had a need for speed and loved loud mufflers and music. He enjoyed going to church on Sundays with his friends at the U Pull. Jordan was always ready for an adventure. His immeasurable sense of humour and wit are legendary – his smile was contagious. He had a kind and giving soul, someone you could always count on if you needed a tow. He loved to love and had plenty to give.

To our beautiful son Jordan,

Loving you has been the most beautiful gift, pleasure and honor of our lives.

You are the best human we have ever known. Your capacity for love and empathy was endless. Your dedication to your family was a beautiful thing to witness. We are so proud of the man you became. Proud to call you our son.

Your shenanigans were an endless source of entertainment. I love that you loved the family you created – it brought you such joy. The best son, brother, partner – but above all – the most devoted father. You will forever be in our hearts and in our souls. We will forever love you and celebrate you my love. Until we meet again, give heaven some hell!
