Charlebois, Aldege “Charlie” (1952- 2025)

With heavy heart the family of Aldege Charlebois announces his passing in Sudbury, Friday September 12, 2025, at the age of 72 years. He was surrounded by his loving family and extended family. Despite his many challenges, his love for his family and friends never wavered.

Dear son of Claraine Charlebois (née Landry) and Andrew Charlebois (predeceased). Predeceased by his first wife Norma and by his second wife Lynda. Loving father of Jonthan, Stephen, Sarah (Clayton) and Stacey (Andrew), Michael. He will also be missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Bailey, Bradon, Maddox and Liam, Kyla, Nicolas.

 Cherished brother of Kate (Randy), Marge (Dave), Peggy (Paul), Sue (Ray), Ann (Mike), Carol (Wes), Andrew (Lori) and Fay (predeceased). Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and extended family, who are too numerous to mention.

Aldege was known for his witty, sarcastic humor and his hardworking nature. He operated his lumber yard for many years, earning the nickname "the wood man." Aldege passed down his knowledge of hunting and trapping to his children and extended family, ensuring that his legacy will live on for generations to come.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday October 25, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
