André Aubin

C'est avec une profonde tristesse que la famille d'André Aubin lui dit adieu le mardi 14 novembre, 2023 après une longue bataille contre un cancer du pancréas.  Il laisse dans le deuil ses parents Gérald et Mirelle Aubin, son épouse bien aimée depuis 23 ans Marie-Rose (Papam née Nault), ses enfants Michel, Patrick (Lise) et Nicole (Matthew), et ses petits-enfants Tyler, Kassandra, Kaydence, Josée, Jérémie, Emma, Ryan et Isabella.  Cher frère de Robert (Angèle), Fleurette, Réal (Lucy), Bruno (Pauline), Aurel (Carole), Diane (Carl), Gilbert (Linda), Maurice, et Angèle (Wade). Oncle épatant de plusieurs nièces et neveux.

Après 42 ans a l'INCO, André se faisait plaisir en poursuivant son amour pour le théâtre avec la Gang a Popa. Sur scène son charisme naturel et son sens de l'humour ont su charmer le public a maintes reprises.  André s'intéressait aux autres et ne ratait jamais la chance de faire sourire les gens qu'il rencontrait au jour le jour. C'était un conteur enthousiaste. On se souviendra toujours de la façon qu'il s'exclamait en prononçant un juron qu'il a probablement inventé lui-même:   « sauterelle de pic-a-bois! » Son excellente humeur et sa générosité d'esprit vont nous manquer.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that Andre Aubin's family announces his death on Tuesday November 14, 2023, after a long-fought battle to pancreatic cancer.  Andre is grieved by his parents Gerald and Mirelle, his beloved wife of 23 years Marie-Rose (Papam, nee Nault), his children Michel, Patrick (Lise), and Nicole (Matthew) and his grandchildren Tyler, Kassandra, Kaydence, Josee, Jeremi, Emma, Ryan, and Isabella.  Dear brother to Robert (Angele), Fleurette, Real (Lucy), Bruno (Pauline), Aurel (Carole), Diane (Carl), Gilbert {Linda). Maurice, Angele {Wade).   Admired uncle to many nieces and nephews.

After 42 years working at INCO, Andre spends much of his free time entertaining folks in the community theatre with la Gang a Popa. On stage, his natural charisma, sense of humour and infectious laughter won the hearts of many an audience.  Andre was genuinely interested in others, and he never missed an opportunity to joke around and spread laughter among the people he met in his day-to-day life.  Always an enthusiastic storyteller, he would punctuate his speech with a number of bespoke exclamations, such as "sauterelle de pic- a-bois!"  We will miss his excellent humour and his generosity of spirit.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Paroisse Ste-Marguerite-d'Youville, 4290 Old Hwy 69, Val Caron. on Monday, December 18, 2023, for a mass at 10:00 am followed by a Celebration of Life.
