SOLOMON, Andrew (Sonny, Chopper, Gump) (1946 – 2024)
It is with great sadness that the family of Andrew Solomon announces his passing in Sudbury, Monday December 16, 2024, at the age of 78 years. Son of the late Andrew Solomon Sr. and of the late Nora Solomon (née Allen). Loving husband of Frances Solomon (née Morin). Dear father of Holly (Serge), Scott, Steven (Dawn) and David. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Brandon, Aysia, Creo, Justin and Timothy, as well as by his great grandchildren Summer, Autumn and Meadow. Dear brother of Eugene (Anne), Dwayne, Vivian Burke (late Andrew), Donna Boucher (Marcel), Reta (David) and Glenora Chevrette (Edward). Many nieces and nephews will also fondly remember him. Andrew will also be missed by his faithful companion Trigger, who shared every meal with him.
Andrew wore many hats during his life. He was a fishing guide, taxi boat driver, crusher operator and welder, a hunter and fisherman. He was known for his generosity and humor and is very much loved.
