Angelo "Junior" Anzil

Anzil, Angelo “Junior” (March 1st 1943 – May 14th 2023)

It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Angelo “Junior” Anzil in Sudbury, Sunday May 14th 2023, at the age of 80 years surrounded by his loving family. He will be sadly missed by his devoted wife of 56 years Vivian Anzil (née Easton). Only son of the late Angelo and Christina Anzil (née Tomasinni). Very proud father of Alison (late John McGhee), Angela (Neil MacAlpine) and Tony (Amanda Fotty). Proud Nono of Bryden McGhee, Kayla, Alex and Miranda MacApline. Brother in-law to Shirley and Joseph Spiers.

Junior worked for 32 years at Inco in both the Lang Gang and the Transportation Departments. As an active member of the Italian Club Junior enjoyed his Thursday night 48 games and his Friday night bowling. He was also a member of St. John the Divine Church in Copper Cliff. Junior also loved his furry companions. He will be sadly missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Especially his long life friend Louis Dozzi.

A special thank you to the staff of Pine West at Pioneer Manor for all their care and dedication. A celebration of life will take place at St. John the Divine Church in Copper Cliff, Friday May 19th 2023. Visitation with family will be at 10:00am, a service at 11:00am with refreshments to follow. In memory of Junior donations would be appreciated for the Alzheimer’s Society or to St. John the Divine Church. Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of The North, Sudbury.
