Anita Marie Pilon (née Charlebois) (1946 – 2025)

Anita passed away peacefully and comfortably at Health Sciences North surrounded by family.

Beloved wife of her best friend and loving husband for 59 years, Ronald Pilon of Wahnapitae.

Loving mother of Donald Pilon (Melissa) and Rheal Pilon (Melanie). Special Memere to her absolute apples of her eye Jessica Pilon (Kyle) Stephaine Pilon (Mykeal) and Ethan Pilon.

Daughter of the late Amedie and Annie (née Jones) Charlebois. Sister of Anna Raymond (Phillip) (both predeceased), Andrew Charlebois (predeceased) (Claraine), Leonard Charlebois (predeceased) Therese, Laura Legault (Garnet) (both predeceased). She also leaves many special sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Anita was the matriarch of the family. She enjoyed camping and hunting, but most of all her most precious moments and thing to do was spending time with her family. Her family was her everything. She never forgot a special date whether it was a birthday or anniversary. Her memory was one that could not be matched. She had wonderful recipes that she shared with us all that will be carried forward for generations to come. She always put her family first and anyone who knew her knows how selfless and caring she truly was. She will be missed by so many but never forgotten.

The family would like to extend their utmost gratitude and thanks to Dr. Walton for her ongoing care and to Dr. Simard and nurses Christine, Jasmine, Katie and Suzanne on the ICU floor at Health Science North for their compassionate care of Anita in the final days of her life.

So with the heaviest of hearts we have to say goodbye or as she would say “See you later alligator…after a while crocodile”.

As per her wishes a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
