Ann Landry

In loving memory of Ann Landry, of Levack, who passed away peacefully in the arms of her son at the Vale Hospice on Friday, November 11th, 2016 at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife of Cyril Landry (predeceased 2008). Loving mother of Richard Landry (wife Diane) of Onaping, Margaret Gaudet of Vancouver and Tim Landry of Levack. She also leaves behind 4 granddaughters, 2 great-granddaughters and 2 great-grandsons. Dear sister of Jack Stokes (wife Brenda) of P.E.I. and Shirley Morin (late husband Harvey) of North Bay. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ann was born in Chapleau on January 15th, 1935, daughter of Marie and Jack Stokes (both predeceased). In 1954, she married Cyril in Cartier. In her healthier years, some of her favourite pastimes were playing golf and knitting. Being involved with the Onaping Falls Golden Age Club brought great joy to her life. She was also a dedicated member of St. Bartholomew's Church. Ann will be remembered as a wonderful mother that anyone would have been lucky to have. As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at Lakeview Crematorium. In Ann's memory, donations to the Vale Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
