With heavy hearts the family announces his death on Friday, June 5, 2020. Primo passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving daughters at the age of 82 years. Primo is now safely in God’s memory.
A lifelong resident of Sudbury, Primo worked at Inco as an Electrician for 42 years missing only two days of work. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time caring for his beautiful garden. Primo was a wonderful loving father and is remembered as a man who was always happy and very loyal to his friends.
Predeceased by his wife and soulmate of 50 years Millie [Touchie]. He and Millie made many wonderful memories. They were both on the Family Council at Finlandia Village and helped many families over the years. Survived by his loving daughters Sheila Lalancette and Lorie [Dale] Gilchrist. Also missed by Akalnesh Mamo whom he loved as a daughter. Fondly remembered by grandchildren: Melissa [Ali] Wehbe, James Deschenes, Mikyas Gezahegn and Olivia Mildred Gezahegn. Also survived by his sisters: Rita Amero [Earl], Gloria Moskalyk [Ray] and Lina Demers [Percy]. Primo will be sadly missed by his children but they cherish the thought of seeing him again in God’s promised Earthly Paradise where the new normal may be reading Resurrection Notices instead of Obituary Notices because death will be no more.
Revelation 21:3-5.
But until that time Primo will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Millie in Campbellton, New Brunswick on a breezy hill overlooking the Restigouche River. Cremation services by Simple Wishes of the North – Sudbury.
