Audrey Levesque (née LeClair) (1944 – 2025)
After a short and courageous battle, Audrey Levesque (née LeClair) of Coniston passed away at the Maison McCulloch Hospice on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025, at 10:37pm at the age of 81 years. Audrey is now reunited with her late husband, Roger Levesque. Audrey is survived by her only child, JoAnne (Dan Belanger) of Coniston. Devoted grandmother to Misty-Ann (Darryl) of Coniston, Melanie Tracey (Barry) of Timmins, Stephanie Caskanette (Joseph) of Elmwood and Carlee-Ann of Coniston. Loving great grandmother to Riley, Rheanna, Alexander, and Grayson.
Audrey was very proud of her family and bragged about them often. In her earlier days, she enjoyed bowling and playing darts. She worked for many years driving the school bus for children with special needs, retiring at the age of 70 years. Along the way she made special friends, especially Monique. Audrey was well known as the bartender at the Royal Canadian Legion in Coniston. She also enjoyed boating with her husband and many friends, especially Marsha Brunelle and the late Rudy Brunelle on the Georgian Bay.
Audrey is predeceased by her parents, Florence (née Ethier) and Edward LeClair, her brothers Reginald (Diane), Eugene (survived by Cecile), Arthur and Laurin, and her sisters, Lorraine (Ralph) and Diane (Henry). She is survived by her sister, Cecile Sager, known as Lou Lou. She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her, especially David LaBelle.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to Dr. Nykilchyk and all the staff at Maison McCulloch Hospice.
In keeping with Audrey’s wishes there will be a private burial with no funeral. In memory of Audrey, donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
