Fournier, Aurèle Gérard (1937- 2021)
The family of Aurèle Fournier announce his passing, with his family by his side, Friday May 7th 2021, in Sudbury, at the age of 83 years. A beloved Spouse, Father, and Grandfather, Aurele will be remembered for his love of his family and the outdoors. We will all miss his laughter, his generous heart, and the integrity of his honest words.
Son of the late Adrien and of the late Marie-Anne (Moreau) Fournier. Beloved spouse of Rhoda Burke (Pitfield). Aurèle is survived by his children Belinda (Dave), Monique (Lionel), Yvette, Michelle, Raymond (Helen), Bridgette (James), Gary and their mother Joanne, as well as by Rhoda’s children Bruce (Denise), Sandra (Darcy), Bobby (Karen), Helen (Raymond), Charlene (Robbie), and Patricia (Derek). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 34 grandchildren and his 39 great grandchildren. Also survived by brothers and sisters Conrad (Denise), Gilles (Hélène), Claudine (Marcel), Yves (Suzanne), Marthe (late Luc). Predeceased by his siblings late Rita (Allan), late Nicole (Robert), late Carmen and the late Jules. In memory of Aurèle, donations to NEO Kids Foundation or the CNIB would be appreciated. Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
