Bob Gaasbeek, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and businessman passed away in Sudbury, Ontario on September 21st, 2021 at the age of 72. He leaves behind his wife Anne Mari (nee Pettersen) of 52 years, his children John (wife Sylvie Dufau) and Kristeen Hughes (husband Jake Hughes), and his sister Marjon Hollander after a long and courageous battle with Pancreatic cancer. He also leaves behind his four grandchildren who he loved very much in his role of Pappy: Nolan, Annabelle, Maggie and Lily. As family pets were always a part of the Gaasbeek household, he will be missed by his Havanese Peeka. He was predeceased by his parents, Gerrit Ari Gaasbeek and Jacoba Gaasbeek (nee Salomon). He will be remembered as a strong willed, hard working (40+ years in the Sporting Goods Industry), loving, and generous man and will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
