Brenda “Bunny” Olson

We are heartbroken and devastated to announce the passing of Brenda “Bunny” Olson after a short, yet fierce and heroic battle with cancer. This beautiful, loving, generous, funny, kind, intelligent, and wonderful woman will be forever missed by all that knew her. Brenda was predeceased by the love of her life Lloyd “Bim” Olson and has now joined him in the afterlife. Brenda was many things to many people and the space she has left in our hearts will never be filled. I think this speaks to how incredible she was and to how she chose to live her life. She was such a strong woman and walked this journey she was on without hesitation and met each challenge with fierce conviction and an attitude of “Is that the best you got?”. Needless to say, a woman like Brenda will never be forgotten and her legacy will live on in her son and grand-daughters. Unfortunately, at this time there are no arrangements for a celebration of life due to current pandemic guidelines. We would also like to acknowledge and thank the team of Nurses, Doctors, PSW’s, volunteers, grief counsellors and management at Maison McCulloch Hospice for the outstanding care provided to Brenda and our family in the last days.
