Brian Ross Riddell (October 16, 1960-December 23, 2025)
The family announces with deep sorrow the passing of Brian Riddell at home on Tuesday December 23, 2025. Son of Russell Riddell (predeceased) and Betty Leblanc (predeceased). He leaves behind his life partner, Kathie Castonguay. His children, Tom (Teri-Lynn) and Brianna (Eric Hamelin). Brian was a proud grandpa to Brooklynn, Trillium, Rilynn, Tommy, and Amelia. He leaves behind his two younger brothers, Barry and Stephen.
Brian was a proud member of the international brotherhood of electrical workers local 1687 for over 40 years, working his way up from apprentice to superintendent at the time of his retirement two years ago. Brian had a passion for NASCAR and jamming with his lifelong friend Chris Jenkins. Saturday nights would often turn into a music fest at our house with the two of them playing their guitars till the wee hours of the morning. Brian and Kathie went to many races. The highlight was when he saw his favourite driver Tony Stewart win the championship in Florida.
At Brian’s request, there will be no service. The celebration of his life will be held in the spring.
