Carl Desormeaux

In loving memory of Carl Desormeaux who passed away suddenly in Sudbury on Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 at the age of 59 years. Dear brother of Rita Kozub (late husband Jim) of Buckhorn, Sue Taylor (husband Wibb) of Bobcaygeon, Gary Desormeaux (wife Sandra) of Sudbury, Vivianne Desormeaux (husband Mervin Giroux) of Sudbury, Ted Desormeaux of Bobcaygeon, Chuck Desormeaux (wife Rhonda) of Sudbury, Fern Desormeaux of Lindsay, Victor Desormeaux (late wife Sue) of Sudbury, Roseanne Jarvis (husband Malcolm) of Sudbury and Penny Nault (husband Yvon) of Coniston. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Carl was born in Sudbury on March 16th, 1958 to parents Violet and Theodore Desormeaux (both predeceased). For many years, Carl worked at the Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto where he developed a passion for horses. Some of his favourite pastimes were watching t.v., gardening, reading, playing cards and dancing. Carl will be remembered as a great thinker. He was very artistic in his own way and always marched to the beat of his own drum. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation at Lakeview Crematorium with the interment of his ashes at the M'Chigeeng Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Health Sciences North Foundation (Positive Steps program), in Carl's memory, would be greatly appreciated.
