Ferlotte, Carmel (1935-2022)

It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing on Sunday, September 25^th, 2022, at the age of 86 years. Daughter of the late Elise and late Pat Laforge. Loving mother of Daryl Ferlotte, Wayne Ferlotte (Kathy), Marie Lynn Bishop (Robert Frappier) and Brenda Kirkbride (Jim). She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Donna Ferlotte, Erica Merrick, Jennifer Contant (Jonathan), Meaghen Whynott (Vincent), Brandon Kirkbride (Keirsten) and Taylor Kirkbride, As well as by her great grandchildren Skyler, Callie, Joseph, Caleb, Maddison, Zackary, Brooklynn, Zoey, Logan, Hannah, Mia and Owen. Predeceased by her brothers Armand, Camille, Albert, Eddy, Ti-Nomme, Gerald (Pit), Léo and her sisters Claire, Jeanne, Estelle, Léda and Simone. She is survived by her sister Élianne Cyr who is 103 years old. Carmel will be fondly remembered by her brother and sister-in-law Joe and Dawn Ferlotte. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews, and by special friends Bernadette McLaughlin and Madeleine Poulin. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr James Chow, Dr Joanne Clarke, Dr Robert Masih, her PSW's Nat and Roxy and the staff on 7 north of HSN. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s foundation would be appreciated greatly. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 1^st 2022 at Paroisse Ste-Marguerite-d'Youville, Val Thérèse at 10:00am, friends and family are welcome to join around 9:15.  Cremation arrangements provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.

C’est avec une grande tristesse que la famille annonce son décès le dimanche 25 septembre 2022, à l’âge de 86 ans. Fille du feu Elise et du feu Pat Laforge. Mère bien aimée de Daryl Ferlotte, Wayne Ferlotte (Kathy), Marie Lynn Bishop (Robert Frappier) et Brenda Kirkbride (Jim). Elle manquera beaucoup et se souviendra avec amour ses petits-enfants Donna Ferlotte, Erica Merrick, Jennifer Contant (Jonathan), Meaghen Whynott (Vincent), ), Brandon Kirkbride (Keirsten) et Taylor Kirkbride, ainsi que ses arrière-petits-enfants Skyler ,Callie ,Joseph ,Caleb, Maddison, Zackary, Brooklynn, Zoey, Logan, Hannah, Mia et Owen. Prédécédée par ses frères Armand, Camille, Albert, Eddy, Ti-Nomme, Gerald (Pit), Léo et ses sœurs Claire, Jeanne, Estelle, Léda et Simone. Elle laisse dans le deuil sa sœur Élianne Cyr âgée de 103 ans. Carmel restera dans les mémoires de son beau-frère et de sa belle-sœur Joe et Dawn Ferlotte. Elle manquera à plusieurs nièces et neveux, ainsi qu'à des amies spéciales  Bernadette McLaughlin et Madeleine Poulin. La famille tient à remercier tout particulièrement Dr James Chow, Dr Joanne Clarke, Dr Robert Masih, les PSW Nat et Roxy et tout le personnel du 7 Nord de HSN. Au lieu des fleurs, des dons à la fondation Alzheimer seraient grandement appréciés. Une célébration aura lieu le samedi 1 Octobre 2022 à la Paroisse Ste-Marguerite-d ‘Youville, Val Thérèse à 10h00.
