Menard, Carol (née Barr) (1935 – 2023)
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Carol Menard in Sudbury, Saturday May 20th 2023, at the age of 87 years. Daughter of the late Gordon and Marie Barr (née Scott). Loving wife of the late Leonard Menard. Dear mother of the late Bryan, the late Keith (Shelley Westhaver), Murray (Christine), Christopher (Laurie) and Stacy Bartolet (Paul). She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Samantha, Keith, Brittany, Alyssa, Mikayla, Bryan and Kyle. Predeceased by her sister June Vance.
Carol had a long and fullfilling life, caring for her family while struggling against health issues. She remained a loving and caring person throughout her many challenges. Carol was a sweet, stubborn and fiesty person, giving the nurses, staff and her family both heart felt joy and mild frustration at times; this became quite apparent in the end. She was not only my Mother-in-law but we had grown to be friends, and we will truly miss her.
