December 1, 1982 – February 23, 2026
It is with profound sadness that the Tait family announces the sudden passing of Chad Tait. Chad is survived by his father, Bob (Alison); his mother, Debbie; his brother, Troy (Chelsea); his stepsister, Jenna (Evan); and his stepbrother, Chris (Sarah). He was a proud uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Above all, Chad is survived by his beautiful children, Aubrey and Gordon, whom he loved dearly and who were the light of his life. Chad will also be deeply missed by his cherished best friends, Melissa and Michelle.
A skilled electrician with the Greater City of Sudbury, Chad dedicated his career to his trade and took pride in his work. He was hardworking, knowledgeable, and valued doing a job properly. Chad found his greatest peace outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Time spent in the bush or on the water was where he felt most at home. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
