Claire Blais (née Miron) passed away peacefully at 83 years of age at Maison McCulloch Hospice on December 27, 2024.
She was known as ‘Ma’ to her family and will be dearly missed by her daughter, Tracey Sheehan, Lorie Graham (predeceased) (Scott), grandchildren; Caitlin Sheehan (Josh Larsen), Cooper Sheehan, Gatlin Graham, Emilie Graham, and great-grandchildren Abe and Brisbie. She adored her family.
She will be missed by her siblings; Rita Lapointe (late René), André Miron (Madeleine Toupin), Lucien Miron and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Louis and Florestine Miron, her sisters; Fernande Blanchette (late Ernie), Aline Machin (late Bruce), Louise Miron and her brothers; Ernest (late Lucille), Roma (late Angèle), Jean-Paul (late Anne-Marie) and Roger.
Claire had several jobs and the one she enjoyed the most was as a school bus driver. She loved the kids and loved driving. She enjoyed reading, crocheting/knitting, crafting, ceramics, playing cards and dice games.
Thank you to the incredible team at Maison McCulloch Hospice for their dedication and compassion shown to Claire (Ma) and her family. It will always be remembered.
