Constance Barbeau

November 30th, 1933 – March 23rd, 2026

The family announces with sorrow the passing of their beloved aunt, Constance
Barbeau (née Bazinet), who was predeceased by her husband, Jacques (2007),
and passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late
Charles Bazinet and Alma (née Rhenaud), and the cherished sister of the late
Romeo Bazinet (Madeleine), Liliane Beaudry (Oswald), Lucille Chassé (Ovila),
Rita Bazinet, Victoria Clouthier (Gérard), and Claire Valcourt (Harry).
She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who
loved her dearly and will miss her being part of their everyday lives.
Following a successful teaching career, Constance retired from the school board
and, together with Jacques, traveled the world, sharing many wonderful
adventures. Constance was a very independent woman with a close circle of
friends, including Jeannine Michel (late Gerald), Jacqueline Lynch, and Velma
Pidutti, with whom she enjoyed dining, golfing, and attending the theatre.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Bayshore PSWs and the
staff at Maison McCulloch Hospice for their kind care and compassion during her
final days. We would also like to offer a sincere thank you to Jeannine Michel, who
spent a great deal of time with Constance, accompanying her to appointments, and
to our sister, Diane Ducharme, who was a constant and dedicated caregiver to
Connie before and during our dear aunt’s declining health. Finally, the family
would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Lynn Boissonault and Dr. Brulé for
their care, support, and attentiveness. Funeral service to be held at La paroisse
Sainte-Anne-Des-Pins, Saturday, April 11th at 11 am. Donations to Maison
McCulloch Hospice.
