Sinclair, Dan 1946 – 2022
The family announces with great sorrow the sudden passing of Dan at his home on Manitoulin Island on April 6, 2022, at the age of 76 years.
Cherished son of the late Robert Sinclair and the late Phyllis Lloyd. Beloved husband of the late Rita Sinclair (née Rousselle). Loved by his partner Daphne Campbell and her daughter Lisa (Steve). Loving father of Art Sinclair (Lisa) and Shane Sinclair. Cherished grandfather of Devin and Emilie. Danny was the dear brother to the late Billy, Bobby, Philip, Mark, and Vonnie. He is survived by his brothers Jimmy (Gail) and sisters Edie, Franny (Leo) and Charline (Jack). Dan was also loved by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be missed terribly by his dog/best friend, Bowzer.
Dan was an adventurer, travelling through life touching the hearts of everyone he met. He would sing and play guitar every chance he had. In school his teacher referred to him as "the little man with the big voice". Dan had many hobbies including hunting, fishing, cooking, and gardening. He was a spiritual man with a kind heart.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life to follow at a later date. Services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
