Daniel (Dano) Remillard
December 29, 1963 – February 9, 2026
Dano passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, in Sudbury, Ontario, after a battle with cancer.
He leaves behind a loving family who will miss him deeply: his mother, Evelyn Remillard (née Michel); his siblings, Suzanne, Carol, and Ron; his nieces and nephews, Roman, Bridget, Jessica, Teddy Jr., Jazmine, Ava, and Dominique; his great-nieces Lennon and Eloise; and his extended family who held him close. He will also be fondly remembered by special friends Jimmy and Debbie Dumas, Val Howe, and John Carpentier, as well as his beloved companions June and Scarlet.
Born on December 29, 1963, Dano lived with a generous heart and a strong work ethic. Music filled his life, and time spent with family and friends meant everything to him. He was always ready to help, and just as ready to enjoy the moment.
Dano found his greatest joy gathered around a bonfire with loved ones—drink in hand, songs rising into the night. If you believe, his spirit will always be there, whenever his memory brings you back to that place.
Cremation services are provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury, and Crystal Crematorium.
