In loving memory of David "Dave" Amyotte, of Chelmsford, who passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Monday, December 12th, 2016 at the age of 72 years. Beloved father of Judy-Ann Frappier (husband Marc) of Chelmsford, Steven Amyotte of Chelmsford and Rick Amyotte of Sudbury. Dave is also survived by the mother of his children Joan Léger-Amyotte of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Alyssa, Brianna, Makayla, Mathieu and Jenelle. Loving brother of the late Danny Amyotte (surviving wife Marie M. of Val Thérèse), Roseanne Keough (husband Larry) of North Bay, the late Marie Martel (Georges) and Trudy Lisk (husband Jack) of North Bay. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dave was born in Sturgeon Falls on May 12th 1944, son of Edith and Richard Amyotte, both predeceased. For the last 47 years or so, he had been a resident of Chelmsford. For 30 years, he worked as a miner at INCO and retired at the age of 50. Dave loved the great outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Spending time with his friends at Tim Horton's, McDonald's, Place Bonaventure Mall or at the bingo also brought much joy to his life. He will be remembered as a kind and generous individual who loved being surrounded by his family and who was always willing to help anyone in need. As per his wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation at Lakeview Crematorium. A memorial mass, to celebrate his life, will take place at St-Joseph's Catholic Church in Chelmsford on Saturday, December 17th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation or the Cardiac Unit at Health Sciences North would be greatly appreciated.
