Passed away peacefully at home, in Sudbury, surrounded by his family on Wednesday August 10th, 2022 in his 72nd year. Beloved spouse for 13 beautiful years to Jeannette Forget. Cherished father of Carole Castonguay (Claude), Marcel Dumont(Lynne), and Dionne Levesque. Remembered by his stepson Allain Deguire (Monique) and stepdaughter Denise Deguire (Olaf). Will be fondly remembered by Jeannette’s family: son Kevin Northorp (Nathalie), daughter Marissa (Gab) and Patricia (Michel)and Jeannette’s grandson Jeff (Jessica) and great-granddauther Elektra. He will be sadly missed by his siblings: James Dumont (Diane) and Stella Dumont (late Gil). Pre-deceased by his siblings Shirley Corriveau (Oscar pre-deceased), Rita Dumont, Ken Dumont (Carole) and Steve Dumont (Sylvia) Dave will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, grand-children, great grand-children and many friends.Being of Indigenous descent, Dave enjoyed hunting and spending his spare time in the bush either building a hunt camp, tree stands, 4 wheeling and making or maintaining many kilometers Of trails. As per his wishes there will be no visitation.
