David Gauthier

​GAUTHIER, David Edward (1982 - 2024)

In the early afternoon of thursday November 21st at the Maison McCulloch Hospice in Sudbury, David Edward Gauthier passed peacefully at the age of 41. In the arms of his loving wife Lacy Gauthier, and his doting mother Bonnie Madore, David passed as he lived, surrounded with love. He leaves behind a legacy of caring for others having partially raised his younger sister Megan Harding(Justin) and step-daughter Harlee Holmes. 

Born on Prince Edward Island to his father Randy Gauthier(Bonnie) David's passing is felt across the country. There is no shortage of people who will miss him greatly from Alberta to Nova Scotia. 

Outspoken and humourous David is known for having hilarious outbursts of opinions and is fondly remembered as a man who didn't shy away from hard or awkward truths. No one had to guess what he was thinking, he simply told you whether you wanted to hear it or not. 

David was well liked by coworkers having been known for his shenanigans as well as his unfailing ability to get the job done. 

Being a Truck Driver by trade, David absolutely loved to travel back home to the east coast as often as he could to visit with friends and family.

As of December 9th David would have been 42, which would have marked 21 years in Sudbury and 21 years back home.

Seeing as David loved synchronicities, his family invites any who knew him to bring their stories and fond memories to his Celebration of Life to be held at the Garson Pub Monday December 9th (David's Birthday) between 5pm-9pm. Additional parking at the Garson Arena. 

Let's send him off as he lived, full of life, love and good times.
