The family announces with great sorrow his passing at Sudbury Extendicare York after a brief illness.

Predeceased by his Parents David and Margaret (Joshua) Jenkins of South Wales, Great Britain. Loving Father of Paulette Ralph of Ottawa, Gary Jenkins (predeceased Dec 2020) (Marilyn Brooks of Onaping), Gail Grant (Gerald) of Sudbury, Elaine Mourot (Johnathon) of Azilda, Jennifer Daly (Robert) of Ottawa, and Heather Stonham (Lee) of Victoria BC. Dear Grandfather of Lyle Ralph (Leigh), Sheri-Lynne Leskiw (Dustin); Christopher Jenkins ; Kenneth Grant (Cayla), Carolyn Rivers (Scott); Brandon Mourot (Krysta), Brett Mourot; Shauna Daly (Tyler Duval), Blake Daly (Rianne), Bradley Daly; Maddison Stonham; and Jesse Brooks (Becca). Cherished Great-Grandfather of Jessica & Owen Ralph; Devon, Kailee & Cole Leskiw; Ryder Grant; Lachlan & Kennedy Rivers; Dallas Duval; Avery & Hailey Brooks.

Predeceased by his brothers and sister: Howard Jenkins (Nansi), Euron Jenkins (Glenys), Beryl Jenkins (Alun), and Dyfrig Jenkins (Joan). Lovingly remembered by his Welsh nephews and niece, and their families: Alun Jenkins (Dawn), Emyr Jenkins (Ceri), Eurig Jenkins (Marian); Wyn Harries (Wayne predeceased); and Peter Jenkins (Shan), Colin Jenkins (Karen). Dad was born in South Wales in 1923. He served in the British Navy in WWII, followed by a move to Canada in 1948. Falconbridge Limited (Sudbury Operations) employed him as a Control Room Operator at both the Falconbridge and Strathcona Mill sites for 34 years, leading to his retirement in 1982. He proudly supported, and was supported by, the Royal Canadian Legion, Onaping Branch. Heartfelt thanks to the many Nurses and PSWs on the 6th Floor at Extendicare York for their exceptional care during the short time that he was there. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simple Wishes of the North Inc.
