It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of Dawson Shane Anderson on Wednesday , February 25th, 2026, in Timmins.

Born in Timmins, Dawson was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was the cherished son of Steve Anderson (Glenda) and Darlene Fichault (Victor). He was a proud and loving brother to Ashley Ouellette (Mitch), and a devoted uncle to Hayden and Brynlee, who brought him immense joy.

Dawson shared a special bond with his beloved cats, Stanley and Poppy, who were constant companions and a source of comfort and happiness in his life.

A hardworking and talented individual, Dawson worked as a Diamond Driller and also expressed his creativity as a Tattoo Artist. Whether on the job site or in the studio, he took pride in his work and formed lasting connections with those around him.

Those who loved Dawson knew him to be one in a million. He was a compassionate friend, great listener and always there to lend a helping hand. Dawson will be remembered for his kind heart, soft soul, creativity, humor, his dedication to his family, and the love he had for those closest to him. His sudden passing leaves a profound void in the lives of his family and friends.

Donations in Dawson's memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association and would be greatly appreciated by the family.

He will be forever loved, missed, and never forgotten.
