Crew, Debora Ann (née Jarvis) – also lovingly known as “The Beautiful Princess” (1955 – 2025)
It is with profound sadness that the family of Debora Ann Crew (née Jarvis) announces her peaceful passing in Sudbury, on the morning of Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the age of 69.
Beloved daughter of the late Jack and Betty Jarvis (née Wilcox). Devoted and loving mother to Jaclyn (Steve) and Mitchell, proud grandmother to Zachary (Emma), and adoring great-grandmother to her newest joy, Theodore. Debora is also survived by her partner Ed Pyke, and her siblings Sandra (Betsy) and Brian. She was predeceased by her sister Sharon.
Debora cherished the many friendships and family connections she built throughout her life. She often spoke fondly of joyful adventures, meaningful conversations, and shared laughter. Every memory—big or small—held significance and helped shape a life filled with love and meaning.
In keeping with Debora’s wishes, no formal services will be held. We invite those who knew her to take a quiet moment of silence in her memory—whether in reflection, prayer, or gratitude—for the love, laughter, and kindness she shared with so many.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff on the 8th floor at Health Sciences North for their warmth, care, and compassion during Debora’s hospital stay. We are also deeply grateful to the staff at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care for their kindness and support in the hours following her passing.
Cremation arrangements entrusted to Simple Wishes of the North – Sudbury and Crystal Crematorium.
