Maguire, Denise Lorraine (née Theriault) - 1947-2025
It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Denise Maguire announce her passing in Sudbury, Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the age of 78 years. Loving wife of James (Jim) Olden Maguire. Dear mother of Shawn (Sara), and Debrah Rothenberg (husband Scott). Denise will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her granddaughter Alexandra Chookomoolin (Matthew), her grandson Austin Rothenberg and her great grandchildren Freya and Joseph. Also survived by her foster sister’s Annette (Marcel), Pierrette and foster brother Jean Paul (Andrea).
Denise is a child of God; by the grace and mercy of her risen Lord and Saviour; Christ Jesus the soon returning King of Kings. She faithfully attended Cornerstone Community Church, Lively.
Family will receive friends at the Cornerstone Community Church 225, 6th avenue, Lively, Thursday October 2nd, after 10:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am.
Burial will take place at the Whitefish Catholic cemetery.
In memory of Denise, donations to the Elgin Street Mission and the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
