C’est avec une profonde tristesse que la famille annonce le décès de Donald George Pigeon, le dimanche 17 août, 2025 à l'âge de 88 ans à Horizon Santé-Nord entouré de sa famille. Époux bien-aimé de 58 ans de Micheline.  Cher père de Roxanne, prédécédée en 2007, et de Brigitte (Marc).  Cher GaPa Don d’Alexandre, Nicholas et Éric. Fils de Michael et Lucille (Sauvé) Pigeon prédécédés. Cher frère de Stella (Ray), Richard (Gail), Norm (Seija) et Robert prédécédé en enfance. Il est grandement regretté par ses neveux et nièces. Cher beau-frère de Marcel (Lynda), Gilles, Gisèle (Jean- Marc), Roger (Helen) et Maurice (Diane) prédécédés. Don était un amateur de chiens, il conduisait le motorisé de grandes distances pour aller à différentes expositions canines ou ils présentaient leurs champions Pékinois.  Il aimait recevoir la famille pour de copieux repas où il était le trancheur de  dinde par excellence.  La photographie était sa passion.  Notre papillon social avait toujours le sourire aux lèvres, montrant ses belles fossettes.

La mise en cendres a eu lieu. Conformément à ses vœux, il n’y aura pas de visites.  S’il vous plaît faites un acte de bonté spontanée en sa mémoire.

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Donald George Pigeon, Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the age of 88, at Health Sciences North surrounded by family. Beloved husband of 58 years of Micheline, loving father of Roxanne, predeceased 2007, and Brigitte (Marc).  Dear GaPa Don to Alexandre, Nicholas and Eric. His parents were Michael and Lucille (Sauvé) both predeceased.  Dear brother of Stella (Ray), Richard (Gail), Norm, predeceased, (Seija) and Robert, predeceased as a child. He is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.  Dear brother-in-law to Marcel (Lynda), Gilles, Gisèle (Jean-Marc) Roger (Helen) and Maurice (Diane) both predeceased. Don was a dog enthusiast, driving the motorhome to distant dog shows where they showed their many Pekingese champions.  He loved to host family dinners where he was the turkey carver par excellence.  Photography was his passion.  Our social butterfly always had a smile for everyone, showing his cute dimples. 

Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Don’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Please do an act of random kindness in his memory.
