Eleanor Lillia​n Kozoriz (1940 – 2026)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eleanor Lillian Kozoriz, who passed away Thursday January 15, 2026, at the age of 85 years.

Eleanor was known for her quick wit and sharp sense of humor. She was always joking, always had something clever to say and could make people laugh even in difficult moments. Her personality was unforgettable, and those who knew her will remember her for her honesty, strength and the laughter she brought into their lives.

For over 50 years Eleanor proudly owned and operated a wrecking yard alongside her spouse Billy Kozoriz who predeceased her. It was a place that reflected their hardworking nature, resilience and no-nonsense approach to life. Eleanor was deeply respected in her work and took great pride in what she and Billy built through dedication and perseverance.

Eleanor was predeceased by her spouse, Billy Kozoriz, her brother Herb Lee and her son-in-law Norm Bisaillon.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Lonny Kozoriz, Romeena Kozoriz, and Lauri Kozoriz. She was a proud and devoted Babba (Babz) of her grandchildren Larissa Kozoriz-Bisaillon, Jonathan Kozoriz, Justin Bisaillon, Carley Kozoriz, Lindsey Kozoriz, Kayla Kozoriz and Jacob Kozoriz. She was also blessed with two great grandchildren Olivia and Jonah.

She will be fondly remembered by her extended family, friends and all those whose lives she touched.
