Elizabeth Kerstens

With deepest sorrow, the family announces the passing of our sister, Elizabeth Kerstens, December 15,1964-August 01,2022 at the age of 57 years after a brief illness. Elizabeth was the beloved daughter of Michael Kerstens (deceased 1991) an Gail (nee Bertrand) Kerstens (deceased 2016). She was the sister of James Kerstens (Sandra Kraft) and Jenny Brosseau (Denis Brosseau deceased 2017) (Don Ignacy), the aunt of Shane Brosseau (Jessica Savoie), Taylor (Jon McCracken), Alexandra (Conrad Wadsworth) and Samantha (James Tomadini). The great aunt of Evalee, Adelyn, and Elliot. She will be lovingly remembered by her aunts and uncles and many cousins in the Netherlands and Southern Ontario. Dear friend of Don Smith. We would like to thank the ICAN staff who cared for Elizabeth for 9 years, as well as Jarett Resource Centre where Elizabeth worked for over 30 years. Also, we would like to extend our gratitude to the nurses and doctors in the ICU at Health Sciences North for their care, compassion and guidance. Cremation has taken place. At this time, there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of Elizabeth's life will take place at a later date. Donations can be made to Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
