LAROSE, Elizabeth “Betty” (née Richer)
July 3rd, 1942 – March 15th, 2026
It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth "Betty" Larose (née Richer) announces her passing in Sudbury, Sunday March 15, 2026, at the age of 83 years.
Daughter of the late Regis Richer and the late Rose Richer (née Deroy). Loving wife of 65 years to Armand Larose. Dear mother of Lorraine (Ken Kulik), Pauline (Michel Savard) and Lynn (Wayne Trainor). Predeceased by her son Raymond Larose. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Vicky-Lynn (Derek), Lisa (Rene), Kurtis (Bethany), Peter (Laxmi), Patrick, and Connor (Cheshta). Predeceased by her grandson Nicolas Larose. Loving great-grandmother of Tye, Kaylee, Elijah, Hayeven, Jasmine and Alexandre, as well as her great-great grandchild Braylynn. Dear sister of Don Richer (Micheline) and predeceased by her sisters Phonsine, Tina, Theresa, Irene, Angie, Pauline and Gilberte (Gail).
Betty loved being with her family, and was their number 1 fan at sporting events, whether it be ringette, bowling, slo-pitch, soccer or cornhole. She loved going to bingo and is likely heavily involved in a dabber battle in Heaven with her sister Gail.
At Betty's request, there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury and Crystal Crematorium.
