Dorzek, Francis (Frank) Bernard 1944 – 2022
It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of Norma Dorzek (née Kingston). Loved father of Michael Dorzek (Wendy) of Ottawa, Melanie Weight (Brian) of Garson, and Robert Dorzek of Val Caron. Loving grandfather to Hailey, Ashleigh, Brayden, and Graeme. Son of late Dominic and Lucy Dorzyk (née Blaskie). Dear brother to Theresa Malone (Jerry) of Pembroke. Leona Robinson (Weldon) of Beachburg, James Dorzyk (Claire) of Garson, Percy Dorzyk (Rosemary), Lillian Lair (Remi) both of Pembroke, and Peggy Quilty (Curtis) of Petawawa. Predeceased by his brother Anthony “Tony” (Gepke), and his sister Gladys. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Frank worked at the Copper Cliff Smelter and retired after 32 years of service and also operated a beef farm in St. Charles for many decades. He will be dearly missed. A celebration of life will be held a later date. Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North Sudbury.
