Francoise Tremblay (née Porlier)

(September 26, 1943 – December 25, 2025)

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Francoise Tremblay announce her passing on Thursday, December 25, 2025, in Elliot Lake, at the age of 82 years. Survived by her spouse Marc Tremblay. Loving mother of Craig Craftchick (Darlene), Angèle Craftchick (Phill Adams) and Doug Craftchick (Tarra). Devoted stepmom to Julie Southwell (Robert) and Emilie Jessup (Jason). She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 5 grandchildren and 6 step grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters Carmen Bryce (late Gordon), Madelaine Ross (Steve). Predeceased by her brother Donald Porlier (late Maureen).

Francoise was loved by everybody. She would welcome everyone with a smile and a big hug. A lot of people would say hi to her and comment about the purple streak in her hair and say how much they loved it.

She will be missed. Love you so much.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In her memory, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Association or to an organization of your choice.
