It is with sorrow the family announces the passing of ‘’Joy’’ Carriere at the age of 76 years, December 8th, 2019 at Health Sciences North. Daughter of the late Philip Loiselle and of the late Maye Loiselle (née Racicot). Beloved wife of the late Robert Carriere. Loving mother of Philip (Jayne), Nina (Gilles Chamberland), Robbie (Catherine) and Sam (Dan Theriault). Cherished Momma and Ma of Lindsey (Matt), Emma, Brady and Olivia. Dear sister of Lana (Dick Gascon predeceased) and of the late Hazel (Dave Power). Dear sister-in-law of Claudette, Gabby Gosselin (Predeceased), Gerry (Lillian predeceased), Leona (Brian Robertson) and Elaine (Dave Thisdale). Special aunt to Emily and Missy. She will be missed and always remembered by her special life long friend Emma Lepage. Joy’s door was always open and you would never leave hungry. Family and friends were everything to her and she adored spending time with them. Per Joy’s request, there will be no funeral, visitation or service. In lieu of flowers donations to Health Sciences North NICU or Parkinson Canada would be greatly appriciated. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of The North, Sudbury.
