Hayward, Gail (1953-2026)
The family announces with great sorrow, the peaceful passing of Gail Hayward on Sunday Feb 1st, 2026. The daughter of late Dorina and Raymond Gauthier (Ester). Loving mother to her daughter Tashia Hayward (Lance) and grandmother to her grandson Brekkem Bourgoin. Predeceased by her brothers Maurice and Ronnie and sisters Sharon and Marlene. Gail will be missed by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Born in Minto, New Brunswick, Gail was a long time resident of Pembroke, Ontario and Sudbury Ontario. A friend of Bill W. Gail enjoyed spending time with family and friends alike, a dark roast double double, a chat, and a good curling match. She took pride in every achievement accomplished by her daughter and grandson, her most treasured loves. She will be greatly missed leaving a void that cannot be filled.
A special thanks to Sudbury Science North Hospital ICU for their kindness and compassion. As well as dear friend Joanne Arnold, who along the way helped in too many ways to list.
Breath easy mum. Go rest high on that mountain your work on earth is done. I'll see you in my dreams.
