In Loving Memory of Georgette Séguin (née Brabant)

With deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Georgette Séguin on December 15, at 74. Born on September 13, 1950, Georgette was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her love and devotion to her family were at the center of her life, and she touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Georgette's beautiful, infectious smile could light up any room, and her love for laughter was a gift she shared generously with those around her. Her warmth and joy brought comfort and happiness to all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her husband, Randy Gaudin; her parents, Lionel Brabant and Fernande Guigère; and her brothers, Maurice Brabant, Armand Brabant, and Richard Brabant. Georgette is survived by her children, Léonard Vachon (Patricia Vachon), Brigitte Vachon (Mike Gaudin), Amanda Gaudin (Jody Blanchette), and Lynn Gaudin (Virginia Lomax); her grandchildren, Brody Mabbott, Gabrielle Vachon-Bériault (Eric Bériault), Julien Vachon, Bailey Gaudin, Macey Gaudin- Blanchette, Joshua Blanchette, and Roan Gaudin-Lomax; and her great-grandchildren, Loic Bériault and, Mélodie Bériault. Georgette is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Suzanne Brabant, Gilbert Brabant, and Claude Vachon, her best friend Claire Hamilton, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, warmth, and sense of humor will never be forgotten. She was deeply proud of her family, and her legacy of love will live on through them.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 22, at the Chelmsford Legion from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the local food bank or the Chelmsford Legion in her honor.

Georgette will be greatly missed, but her spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those she loves.
