It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Gerald “Gerry” Gonda at the age of 74, on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Finlandia Village.
Gerry had a deep love for horses and was a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley. He spent many years living in Alberta before returning home to Sudbury, where he enjoyed being surrounded by family. In his quieter moments, Gerry could often be found watching his favorite show, Judge Judy, on YouTube.
He was predeceased by his beloved mother, Noella Gonda; his father, William Gonda; and his sister, Anne Hedderson. Gerry leaves behind his loving sister, Brenda Labbe, along with family and friends who will cherish his memory.
Cremation services entrusted to Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury, and Crystal Crematorium.
