Boivin, Guy (1965-2023)

lt is with great sorrow that the family announces the peaceful passing of Guy Boivin in Sudbury, Tuesday, April 25th 2023, at the age of 58 years. Guy was a man of great faith and passed away with the Bible open at his side. He loved studying and sharing God's word with whoever would listen. He leaves behind both of his parents, Jean-Paul and Alice Boivin (nee Plante), his big brother Dan (Carole), and his little sister Suzette (Robert). Guy will also be greatly missed by his nephew and godson Andrew and his two nieces Parise and Desirée.

Guy's life was filled with an abundance of love for his family. He was a humble man who had a generous heart. He helped so many people in need. In his younger years, Guy enjoyed being out in nature, hunting, trapping and fishing. We would like to thank those whose life was touched by Guy's kindness for all the support in these last few weeks.

As per Guy's request, there will be no service. A private family gathering will take place at a later date. Donations in honor of Guy can be made to the Elgin Street Mission or the Inner-City Home. Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
