LAY, Harvey (1934-2024)
In loving memory of Harvey Clifford Lay, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Finlandia Village at the age of 89 years.
Beloved husband of Gloria Lay for 49 years. Loving father to Lorne (Cassandra) Lay and cherished grandfather to Tucker Lay and Chase Lay.
Brother to Eunice Poirier, Clearwater, BC, Jean Carter (Merlyn predeceased), Hay River, N.W.T, Floyd Lay (Irene), Edmonton, Garry Lay (Mary Jo) Edmonton, and Dallas Lay (predeceased) Hay River N.W.T. He was predeceased by his parents Jasper Lay and Barbara Lay, Edmonton. Loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
Harvey was a faithful servant of Jehovah God.
Thanks to the staff and caregivers of Finlandia Village for going above and beyond in the care of Harvey in his last years.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024, 4:00pm, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3720 Old Hwy 69, Val Caron, ON. Refreshments will be served after the memorial service.
