Irene Desrochers (née Wilky)
April 23rd, 1941 – April 9th, 2026
In loving memory of Irene Desrochers (née Wilky), who passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in Sudbury, with her loving family by her side at the age of 84 years.
Beloved wife of Richard Desrochers, Irene will be dearly missed by her devoted son, Rick “Todd” (Karina). She will also be fondly remembered by members of the Wilky family.
Irene had a special love for her cherished dog, Bijou, who brought her much joy and companionship.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and staff at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, especially Dr. Sheena Thakrar, for their compassion and care during this difficult time.
There will be no service or visitation.
She will be remembered for her warmth, love of family, and the quiet impact she had on those around her.
Cremation services are provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury, and Crystal Crematorium.
