James (Jamie) William Saville IIII
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father and poppa, Jamie Saville, who passed away on January 7th, 2025. He was surrounded by family and loved ones in his final moments, a testament to the love and connection he brought and attracted to his life. Jamie is survived by his loving children, James (Sarah), Kris (Laura), and ‘bonus son’ Anthony (Hayley), as well as his treasured grandchildren - Andi, Jackson, Everleigh and Madeline. Predeceased by his wife Gloria Felske. Cherished brother-in-law to Allan Felske.
Jamie leaves behind a legacy of kindness, sarcastic humor, and a love that will forever be etched in the hearts of all who knew him. Born May 19th, 1957, to Jim and Irene (Wuorinen) and older sister Sharon, he was a man of many passions and simple joys. A lover of old cars, he spent countless hours tinkering with his beloved classics, always fascinated by their intricate design and history. He had a true appreciation for good food, whether it was a home-cooked meal, or a delicious pies and baked goods shared with family and friends. His fondness for the Wuorinen family farm at Black Lake, where he spent peaceful moments enjoying nature and creating lasting memories with family, was another highlight of his life.
He will be deeply missed but never forgotten, and his memory will live on in the laughter and love of his family and friends, the sound of old car engines, and the beauty of Black Lake, which he so adored. Rest in peace, Dad. We love you always.
A private service will be held for family and friends to honour his life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sudbury Foodbank, a cause close to his heart.
Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury and Crystal Crematorium.
