ROSS, Jamie Reginald (1970-2024)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jamie Reginald Ross. Jamie passed away very peacefully at Maison McCulloch with his sister by his side on November 19,2024 at the age of 54.

Son of Louis & Anna Ross (Zaremba) predeceased.

Loving brother to Carol Bonin predeceased, Shari Ross-Orr, Christine Tannahill (husband Paul), Steve Ross and Laurie Ross.

For those who didn’t know Jamie he definitely was the definition of a special person. Jamie was born with down syndrome but that didn’t hold him back. He always marched to the beat of his own drum and was very well known in his small hometown of Capreol for his lawn mowing business and getting into trouble wherever he could find it. When Jamie wasn’t working he loved playing darts at the legion, watching scary movies, listening to music and dancing.  

Jamie had been navigating life not only with Down syndrome but with Alzheimer’s & Dementia and required around the clock care. He will be missed by many but most of all by his sister /full time caregiver Shari Ross-Orr and niece Haley Orr.  

Honourable mention to Sue Lepki who was also a very influential person in Jamie’s life.

A special thank you to all of the staff at Maison McCulloch for the amazing care Jamie received during his stay with them.
