Bélanger, Jean Guy (1942 – 2025)

In loving memory of Jean Guy who spread his wings January 18, 2025, in Sudbury at the age of 82 years, with his beloved wife of 17 years by his side. Dear son of the late Rolland Bélanger and the late Rhéa Belanger (née Brosseau). He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Ginette (Demers), as well by his children René (Maureen), Gerry, Mike (predeceased), Suzanne (Willie), Guy (Anne Marie) and Nicole (Lloyd).  Predeceased by his first wife Laurette (Poulin). Loving stepfather to Patrick (Sam) and Alain (Deanna). Dear grandfather of thirty-four grandchildren and thirty-four great grandchildren. Brother of Lucille, Françoise, Marcel, Angèle, André, the late Marie, and the late Gilles.

Jean Guy worked hard as a truck driver. He always had a good laugh or a joke and loved to tease people. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage and fixing things. After retirement he enjoyed travelling, watching tv and movies, going to Tim Horton’s and people watching. He was also an avid Elvis fan. He will be sadly missed and will always be remembered by all who knew him.

As per his request there will be no service or funeral.
