Andruschuk, Joanne Ellen (née Adams) 1937-2020
Joanne passed away peacefully with family by her side at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, on Friday, April 10th, 2020 at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife and best friend of Thomas “Tom” Andruschuk. Loving mother of Kelly Fraser (Donald) of Sudbury, Terry Phillips (Lloyd) of Blezard Valley, and Lauri of Calgary. Cherished grandmother of Morgan, Joshua, Andrew, Trista, Shelby and great grandmother of Adriana, Virginia and Cameron. Dear daughter of the late William “Bill” Adams and of the late Alice (née Parkes) Adams. Dear sister of Marlene DelMastro (late Joe) of Wasaga Beach, Gail Beauchamp (late Albert “Bert”) of Naughton and Dawnelda “Donna” Gay (William “Bill”) of Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia. She is predeceased by her brothers Wayne (late Connie), David, and Darwin (Helen) of Whitby. Joanne was a loving, kind and caring person whose life centred around her family, friends, and church. She was an avid knitter who made many wonderful sweaters for her children and grandchildren. In her later years she took up quilting and made many quilts for family and friends as keep-sakes for years to come. Joanne will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Donations to a charity of choice or the St. Stephens-on-the-Hill United Church general fund would be appreciated.
