Joanne Brosseau (1965 – 2025)
It is with great sorrow that the family of Joanne Brosseau announces her passing in Sudbury, Friday December 12, 2025, at the age of 60 years.
Born in Sudbury, Ontario to Claudette Brosseau and the late Rheal Desjardins. Loving mother of Rachel Brosseau (André). Mémère to Ava and Zachary. Sister to Debbie Brosseau (Dennis). Aunt to Aaron and Matthew (Stacey). Great aunt to Owen and Miles.
Joanne had a contagious smile and laugh that brought so much joy to those around her. Always giving words of encouragement to others and incredibly proud of her daughter and grandchildren. Joanne was passionate and spent many years fundraising for the Ray of Hope.
The family extends their deepest appreciation to Dr Roch, Dr Falk and all the dedicated staff of Health Sciences North, 5th floor South tower, for the care and compassion shown to Joanne and family during her courageous battle with advanced end stage multiple sclerosis.
A celebration of her life will be held at Simple Wishes of the North, on January 10, 2026 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury and Crystal Crematorium.
