In loving memory of Joanne Mucska, who passed away with her loving family by her side on February 27th, 2026 at Health Sciences North in Sudbury.

Born in Ingersoll, Ontario, Joanne was the beloved daughter of the late Louis Mucska. She carried with her the strength and kindness that would come to define her life. Joanne had a short career caring for others as a nurse, offering compassion, comfort, and unwavering dedication to all those she served, but her true calling in life was to be the best mother/best friend to her daughter Jennifer and the most amazing grandmother to her grandchildren, which were her pride and joy.

Joanne was a proud and loving mother to Jennifer (Kevin) and to her late daughter, Jaime-Lee, whom she held forever close in her heart. She was a cherished grandmother to Owen and Nolan, who brought immense joy and light into her life. She will also be sadly missed by her nephew Eric May (Rona). Her love for her family was steadfast and unconditional, and she treasured every moment spent together.

She is also remembered with much love by her adopted mom, Carol Visentin, whose bond with Joanne was one of deep affection and gratitude.

Joanne will be remembered for her warm heart, her resilience, and the care she so freely gave to others. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched and in the family she loved so dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
