John C. R. Byers (March 31, 1955 – January 21, 2026)
It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of John Byers on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in Sudbury, at the age of 70 years. He passed away peacefully with his son by his side. Son of the late Ronnie Byers and late Dorothy Byers (née Morgan). Loving father of Qorban Byers (Mary-Elizabeth). He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandsons, Benaiah, Nathanael and Aaron. Dear brother of Deborah Byers (Ron Matthews), Kathryn Simard (Claude), Nancy Byers (Rob Dallaire), and late Samantha Byers. He will also be missed by his nephew, David Dallaire (Rachel) and niece Jacquelyn Rheaume (Dan).
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
